"When animals believe they are not noticed they will loosen their tongues and you will catch something...but only if you are listening and watching....."

Tyme bustled about. The cook usually didn't let her do anything more than flock around getting random items from the cellar. It annoyed her, the way the head cook didn't trust her with any of the food. But the again over half of the animals in the kitchen weren't even able to touch the piles and heaps of plates that were carted out of here three times a day. But still she had been here since her third season which made it eight seasons to count that she hadn't gotten to cook a single dish. Tyme honestly didn't mind of course as long as she got a chance to catch some of the kitchen gossip.

Tyme was holding up a bag full of dried garlic powder in her claws as well as furiously pumping her wings so that she didn't dip her them in one of the steaming pots and get murdered by one of the cooks. Arriving at her destination, she folded her wings awkwardly to herself and pushed the bag towards the cook that had asked for it. That done she opened her senses more deeply so that she could observe anything strange that was going on. Of course that would only last as long as a cook realized that she didn't have a task at hand. But still, maybe she'd pick something up. You could never tell when you were a spy. People talked about the most strangest things when they thought no one would bother to listen in.
